The City of Liverpool Retired Pensioners Bowling League caters for Pensioners over the age of 55 years in the sport of Crown Green Bowls.

The league has been in existence for over 50 years and matches are played every Tuesday afternoon throughout the Bowling Season. Many Fridays are utilised to complete the heavy fixture load and the three Cup Competitions. All matches are played with teams consisting of 12 players in both League and Cup matches. Cup matches are played on a 6 at home 6 away basis.
There are over 750 bowlers registered with the League which also organises four individual and pairs competitions throughout the season.
The League has a new sponsor for 2023 ie Desmond L Bannon Funeral Directors. They are the only independent Family Funeral Directors left in Liverpool, They have a number of Offices throughout the Liverpool area.
